Thought it was about time to have a meet.
its the hight of winter too:D

Saturday the 14th of July at Broadbeach.
we had one about the same time last year at the same place, so i thought it might be good to return.

whos up for it?

OMG - had email this morning from Queensland Ambo saying to start on 16th July!!! - Can we come too - we fly out on the 3rd July - Panic stations this end!!!!!! - going to Southport!:)

Whereabouts is the meet usually? We are thinking about staying the night so would be looking for something within walking distance of the meet. Any ideas?:) :)

Don't get many meet-ups in the Goa forum, perhaps I'll stick it there for a while :D :D

Too easy;) About 15 to 20 mins drive depending on the traffic and which route you take:)

you will only be 5 mins from the sundale bridge, after that it will take about 10 mins by car. the bridge does get busy at the weekend though;)
but if you nip down high st, then turn down to broadbeach. it might be quicker on a sunday:)

Maybe earlier. But the whole point of going up that way is to have a look around areas, houses etc. But we'll be there. No idea what hotel we will be staying at. Waiting on my mate coming back from Thailand as he works for flight centre and hopefully he can get us a deal on flights and accommodation.
