Gold Coast headers - head count
Ok, don't seem to be that many active members around just now. But I know a few are possibly a-heading this way soon. Stand up and make yourself known - (so I know how much I have to move over to make room - lol!) Just wondereing if Gold Coast meetings are a possibility on the horizon! Not that I don't love being a part of the Brissie ones - but would be nice to meet fellow Coasters! (then we can take turns at being designated drivers! lol!)

Hi, we're heading to the Gold Coast early September if we get our visas by then. We will be staying with relatives in Runaway Bay to begin with until we decide on an area to settle.

Re: Gold Coast headers - head count
Hi all,
We too are off to the gold coast. Sell the house and we are off!!
Not definite on a particular part yet but edging towards Southport at the moment. Comments anyone?
Kids are 3 and 7 years old and my wife doesn't drive so any info for ease and closeness of schools, shops, public transport etc...would be much appreciated. Can't wait, just need to sell the house.
Pleeeaase make it soon.

Re: Gold Coast headers - head count
We will be there, (boring bit) as soon as the house sells (boring bit over) hopefully August.
If the house hasn't sold or anywhere close by mid August, I will be coming out on my tod to validate my visa. It will only be for a few days but if anyone is available probably last week of August to hold my hand from time to time I would be very grateful.
