We live in Perth and havent (nor will we ever) have kids. It is a culture very geared to families - dont get me started on the alcohol bans at the fireworks. But you can still make friends ok - a dof helps. If you fancy meeting up for a beer when you arrive just say the word

Its great to hear there are plenty of others in the same boat. I would certainly be up for going to the meetups when we get there!

YES!!! were going without our kids, they dont want to come and cant now anyway without their own visas, shame, eh!
