Hi guys,
Great forum! I am desprate to move my family from the U.K to Australia, i am fed up with the U.K and want a better life for my kids, i have a 5 year old and a 2 year old, i am married also, i am 27 and my wife is 28 The problem is, i dont have any family or friends living in Australia, and i wouldn't know where to move to, what part of Australia,i was thinking maybe Perth? i need to think of what would be best for my kids and the best way of life for a family also job opportunities for my wife and myself, i am a carer for the disabled and elderly and my wife has just finished her degree and is looking for a teacher training role, would these jobs get me a visa? can i throw a few questions out there for anyone in the know Can my Dad come with me? he is 61 years old can you migrate to Australia if you have no family? Do you need £10k in your bank to move? Do you have to have a credit score check before you can get a visa? The main reason i am moving is to give my wife and kids the best way of life possible and i am fed up of ' Broken Britian' and it's only going to get worse! i would really like to find somewhere no to far from a beach and not to far from a city....... dont want much do i!! lol.... Im sorry for sounding like a total newbie!!! but i dont know where to start!! We have looked at Mandurah, it looks very nice, but do they need Primary teachers? or Carer's? im thinking of maybe completing a Air - Con course with in the next 2-3 years to give myself a better chance? im not sure about Secret Harbour but i will take a look at the area Thanks for the reply |

Hi and welcome.
I for one, agree with you 100% about wanting a better future for your family, away from Britain. We are in the same boat. We move to Secret Harbour in September and can't wait. When we first started this long process, we spoke to a few agents on the phone. They give you an initial assessment for free, this will explain to you if you'd qualify for a visa and which type of visa. This could also determine where you could live. We eventually used Go Matilda, and can't praise them highly enough. http://www.gomatilda.com/ Good luck x |

In certain areas of Aus loads of overseas trained Primary Teachers have flooded the market slightly. Again something for you to look into..... Air con course would be very good idea and would most likely walk into a job or possibly get an employer to sponsor you ;) |
