http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sto...41-664,00.html
Had one of their cheapo $35 strimmers till it went up in smoke.........think they also sold to ?B&Q in the UK
Its rumoured Bunnings cancelled a million $$$ contract & they couldn't service debt
Sad about the jobs with Xmas round the corner but sign of the times I guess with probably more to come.........

...or also a sign that their stuff is absolute crap. We bought a GMC blower vac from Bunnings - they told us to make sure we kept the receipt as we'd more than likely have to make use of the warranty!

Completely agree. GMC was a trap for new migrants. Great price - crap products. Remember: buy cheap - buy twice.
