Default Getting your bond back in Melbourne

I'm leaving my rental (not yet given my termination notice as I am waiting for my flights to be booked for the new job that I have - away from Australia). Does anyone know how it will work for me to get my bond back? I will be flying out of the Country the day I leave my apartment and will also be leaving before the 28 days notice I have to give (although I will pay rent for this period obviously). If anyone has any advice I'd be most grateful. Thanks, Dan

Don't tell them you are leaving the country in case they pull a fast one.

Clean it to within an inch of its life and steam clean carpets getting a receipt to prove it. Can a friend help you out with arranging cleaning or carpet cleaning?
We had to do all the above to get our bond back from 2 previous rentals.
Got full bond back on both

You could ask the realestate agent who they use
