Getting money to assurer??
Sorry for the probably daft question but things are at last progressing and we have been asked to forward the bond money to our assurer....sorry to be a tad thick but what is the easiest way to do it? do we need to set up our Oz bank account now? Send it via my UK bank? or use a currency broker??
Thanks for any advice

Thats what we did - if you set up an Oz bank account you can't usually withdraaw money from it until you have visited a branch in Oz to show ID and its not really enough money to worry about the exchange rate etc. Our bank charged us about £25 for doing the tranfer.

We used a currency exchange company (sterling exchange - but could be any of them). We got a better rate and got charged nothing.
