I am looking to move to NZ in June 05 as a kind of gap year thing (am only 18, waiting to join RAF but they are currently uniterested so am going to wait 2 years before submitting another application to them.) I currently have my full UK motorcycle licence and am working on getting my car license. I was woundering how easy would it be to get on to a large capacity machine over in NZ (I currrently ride a Yamaha Xj 600 and feel safer on this than I did on smaller machines.) Would I have to take a test out there (I know the highway code has some slightly different rules and most drivers are terrible out tere :scared: ) and what would I need in the way of insurance?
