I applied in August and im getting edgy - lots of people are receiving information or police meds requests.

Some people are saying they have a case offier assigned, how do i find this out, should i phone ADELAIDE.

Or will it pose a problem, especially to the length of time for my application to be processed, ie - will me phoning affect my application

Tambo, there really is no need to get edgy. It's early days yet.

We only got our medicals and police checks 9 months down the line and this was the first contact made by our 'new' case officer. This seems to be the average length of time for most skilled independent visas according to the timeline unless of course you're a different visa class but of course you'll be able to assess this by visiting the austimeline page.

Have you read the timeline info posted by other members? It gives you a fairly clear idea of the durations and phases of various applications. If you don't already know the website, it is www.austimeline.com.
