I can count on one hand the amount of rain we have had in perth in the last 6months.
(not a good thing btw)
The strange thing is, perth actually gets more rain over the year than manchester, can you believe that.
Thing is here we get all our rain in pretty much 3 months of the year jun july aug.

Temperatures plunge below 3C across Melbourne this morning
MELBOURNE has shivered through its coldest April morning in over 50 years, with temperatures dropping below freezing in some suburbs.
Melbourne recorded a low of 2.9C just before 7am, the equal lowest April minimum temperature since 1957, while a number of suburbs had temperatures of between 0C and 2C.
........
Melbourne set another record yesterday when it recorded four days in a row below 15C for the first time since 1949.

In the Uk the warm water routine was often daily.

It was only in winter! I can't actually for the life of me remember how long it went on for. But certainly more than once in 4 years.....There are lots of memories like that fading fast...

I used to put a blanket over my cars engine, so it started better in the cold mornings, and that was in Kent !!

Was down your neck of the woods over the weekend... Stayed in Goulburn Friday and Sunday night and Braidwood on Saturday night... The more I see of the area the more I'd like to live there... weird when most would see Sydney's Northern Beaches as somewhere never to leave...!
