Get Him To Me
Can anyone help me with information on how to get my boyfriend into Australia. He is in London and I'm in Australia. He is 44yo and does not qualify for the points system and appears not to fall into any other category. We believe we need to live in a defacto relationship for 12 months before he can apply a spouse visa, we are aware that we need such things as joint bank accounts etc and need to prove that we are living together, but can anyone help us out with information on how we can live together for 12 months if he appears to be only eligible for a visitors visa. It seems that every avenue has some loop hole. Can anyone please help!!

No idea, you could always email an immigration agent and ask advice.
We emailed the one we now use, he didnt charge for the advise.

if you ask your question in the immigration forum there's a few really helpful people that would be able to advise.
Enter discussion forum and then go down near the bottom of the list to the immigration area.
Hope you find your answers.

Hi Kylie,
Go to www.immi.gov.au
Download the Partner booklet, and have a look at the Prospective Spouse Visa. It has no requirement for living together, I have just come over from the UK on it to live with my Aussie fiance, but we had no co-habitation before that.
The only thing is that you will have to marry your boyfriend once he reaches Australia.
Might be the best way to get him here......
