Hi, we are moving to Perth in 2 weeks and my wife is from Gateshead. When we visited Perth on a reccie recently we met up with a few geordie's there. I used to work in Peterlee at Fisher Price toys before moving to Nissan a few years ago.

Kind of... From Northumberland so that usually makes us geordies to the ignorant.

Still not made up mind about location. Had lived in Perth a few years back and thinking about heading over for good.

Maybe Brisbane this time, as we feel we've "done" Perth.

We are geordies from sunny South Shields. We have been in oz for 2 and a half years now, we are also on the Gold Coast. Are you in Oz yet?

Yep, we're from Newcastle (North Shields) and been in Perth, south of the river for 4 months now. We've met people from North Shields and Whitley Bay since we've been here.
