Whereabouts are you in The Gap? How long have you been here? Can you look after my kids this weekend so I can go out and have fun? (

Seriously though I've *just* decided I'm going to have a picnic BBQ on Saturday at Boombana (just before Mt Nebo Village) with my 2 girls (2 & 4yrs old) - Would love to meet some of you folk and am happy to help out any newcomers with any advice I can muster based on my 10 years in Brisbane.

I just posted on the other thread about meeting up in West Brisbane. We moved to The Gap in November (6 days before the storm!), and although we love it there - haven't managed to meet anybody new apart from our neighbours (who are all really nice - but don't have young families). We're a pretty busy family - I work full time as an architect as well as attempting to look after the 2 boys - so would be great to meet up locally.
