Default Frontloading Medicals

Firstly I would like to say hi to all and a big thank you to all who have posted invaluable info to us newbies trying to wade our way through the migration process.
I must admit when we first decided to move to Australia I thought that being Australian it wouldn't be too difficult to move back home with my wife and kids. How wrong I was. LOL!!
Anyway to my Question.
My wife's applying for a spouse visa and we would like to front load it with medicals and xrays for herself and my stepson. From various threads Ive read the doctor sends these off.
Will he know the address to post it to or does any one have the address so that I can give it to him.
Also one question I noticed on the medical form asks the doctor if the xray was normal so I assume you get the xray first which is then sent to the doctor. Is this right?

Any info with regards to this much appreciated

Thanks
Mark

Yep, x-rays get sent to the doctor and he sends them off with the medical. It's normal practise to send your meds off unrequested and as far as I know they should go to London. Your panel doc should have the address.

Good luck

Hi we front loaded all of ours 2 adults and three kids and the visa only took 28 days total - this could just be lucky, but we sent the medicals and visa application to DIMIA Sydney.

It would have been quicker had you sent it to London I think their turn around time is only a few days.

Hiya...
I presume you are doing the application yourself?
I'm currently applying for a 'spouse' visa myself too.
Apparently with spouse visa's they prefer it if you frontload your meds and police checks.
We, me and 2 kids, are going for our medicals next week and sent off for my police check about 3 weeks ago (can take upto 40 days).
The place we are having our meds done also does the x-rays on the same site. You have to complete the forms partically before attending the medicals and also need to have passport photos for each form. You also need to fill in a part stating where your application is being sent to, you do not get to see the results of your medicals as it can take upto 2 weeks for the docs to process them and then they send them to your place of application (at ours anyway).

If you need any more help please just PM me and will help in any way I can.
C x
