Yes, the Pizza take away is very good but didn't go much on their other takeaway food. Fancy a good curry so will check out Bangles. Apparently there is a very good Italian and pizza place in Mundaring but a bit far away.

I have tried the take away at Bangles a couple of times and would not rave about it, i was spoilt for choice in the UK. Their take away menu seems more restricted thasn their eat in menu..
The fish and chip shop of the high street near the Paris Bistro place is pretty good but closes early (as does much of kalamunda)..

The pizzas are tremendous, the beers superb and the spiced lamb sausage rolls ... well

All the chippy's are shite in Perth.

I agree, but there is a chippy in Candlewood that's not too bad. Get loads of chips, but i think they are frozen ones.
We went to Sharky's chippy at Hillarys afew months back. Ordered 3 bags of chips. When we opened the pack there was a giant pile of chips all squoshed together. Never noticed the sign saying they DON'T wrap individually. Lazy Bast**ds:mad:

it amazes me that they can't manage to peel a few spuds and fry them.

Ciccerello's is crap, the best chippy I've come across is in Mandurah, Peel Fisheries on Mandurah Terrace. Still poxy frozen chips thou, I agree, a great business idea to peel spuds and fry.

Kailis Brothers next to Ciccerelo's in Freo harbour beats them hands down.

I hate all the chips but have had some lovely fish although not the same as chippy fish. Battered sausage, chips and mushy peas or a lovely Steak and Kidney pud (Hollands of course for any Lancastrians reading) from the chippy with chips and gravy and scraps.

Try Govenders in Joondalup (near the hospital). We have just started going there rather than Candlewood - much better.
