apparently Bangles in Kalamunda does a good curry (not tried it myself yet)

and the pizza take away in Lesmurdie, Sanderson road shopping centre is pretty good (again not tried it myself again)
Both come under recommendation

I shall try them soon and let you know!

Yes, the Pizza take away is very good but didn't go much on their other takeaway food. Fancy a good curry so will check out Bangles. Apparently there is a very good Italian and pizza place in Mundaring but a bit far away.

A couple of good ones in Joondalup/Woodvale/Ocean Reef so not worth you driving all the way to Kalamunda.

there's 'The Don's in Kalamunda, round the back of Tai on the Hill they do take away Italian food as well as resturant, reasonable prices but again never been there myself

i don't do take away much and if we eat out we tend to head down the hill!

Anybody recommend any decent takeaways in Lesmurdie/Kalamunda?

Matteos Pizzas are great.
I like the Fish and Chip shop near the hotel.
Thai on the Hill is nice too.

Thanks for this - a takeaway once in a while shouldn't be too bad.

Re: the curries, kabalason in joondalup is by far the best Ive tried, although they do tend to hotten it up (a lot)

First time I visited Ciccerello's was 1969..........then just a big shed, long counter selling fresh fish at one end, fish & chips at the other, with a greengrocer's at one end. No tables or chairs, you took your f&c outside and ate them sitting on the edge of the dock. There were no other buildings nearby and the fishing boats unloaded just beneath your feet. The gentrification (and price increases, together with drop in quality!) all arrived in 1983/4, with the America's Cup. Until then, Freo was very much a quiet fishing village at that side of the Mole, mostly Italian and very dingy. How things change!
