free,well nearly royal mail postage..
had a bit of a nightmare today with royal mail redirection service..but what i did find out,,if family and friends were to post parcels to your old address,they would redirected to your new address,,,,,free..
save a few pound on postage...

Are you saying that any UK post will be redirected to your Perth address for free? That seems too good to be true

I think you have to pay for the international redirection service in the first place.

Excellend idea in theory - EXCEPT that some items tend to slip through the net at the Post Office and end up getting delivered to your old address.

yep - happened to us too - we've also had a few things sent from the UK and also internally in Oz which have never turned up, I think I trust Oz mail less than the Royal Mail !

Bloody hell, that's taking the proverbial somewhat, no?! Good for them though if it worked! Wish I'd thought of it when we had all our CDs sent out to us - we foolishly left about 200 discs in a big fat cd-wallet under a chair in the UK. It cost £70 to have it posted out to us! Cheaper than buying them all again, but still - would have been free if we'd just remembered to take them!
