Pleeeease can I have some. I am in dire need.

I am living with the MIL (she lives in the next village) for the next few days as I have no running water. It's off because we are having a new bathroom fitted. What shoud have been a fairly simple job is turning into a bit of a nightmare.

The plaster has come off the wall in big chunks with the tiles and the bath. The pipes under the floor for the bath waste have shattered. There was a large hole in the floorboards underneath the bath. And it is freezing in the house cos there is no heating due to the water being off. I am supposed to be painting the new skirting boards but it is too cold to stand outside and do it, i just need a bit of courage to go out there. You know what it's like when you get cold, you need the loo even more and of course I can't go because we have no loo. Well, I have 2 but one is in the kitchen and one is outside! Don't fancy using either of them.

Thanks possoms. I have now painted skirting boards, got changed and am going back to MILs (complete with 2 fighting children) for a hot cup of tea and a much needed toilet visit - not necessarily in that order. Hubby couldn't understand why I did't want to use the pipe in the bathroom floor. Told him I can't aim like he should be able to, but often can't!!
