Default Footy Nut!

My hubby is sport mad! :scared: It drives me crazy. We have sky tv and given half a chance he would watch the sports channels 24/7.

Is there much sport on tv in Perth? Would he be able to keep up to date with english football and rugby?

Sky in UK = Foxtel in Oz (Rupert Murdoch owns both); I'm sure he would be able to keep up with the soccer and rugby via a subscription to Foxtel. SBS has some 'foreign sport' but you wouldn't get much English sport on TV stations - other than Australia making it 9 in a row in the Ashes!

I see you are in Scunny. That was some fantastic match last night between Chelsea and Barcelona. They mentioned that the last player to score at Stamford Bridge, before Ronaldinho, was a Scunny player in the Cup!

Hubby can check out http://www.foxtel.com.au to see the options.

Paul Hayes in the F.A. Cup put them up 1-0 up as well.

The UK Midday kick off games aren't so bad because they are on at a decent hour, that said all the live games are re-run the following day.

They're going to live in Perth, so all the games will be on at great hours on a Saturday. Hubby will be able to watch the triple header on Saturday live from 7pm once the clocks change.

The National Rugby League season kicks off tomorrow night.
Games are shown on Channel 9 and Fox Sports 1.

Enjoy, we do!
