Flying and luggage
This may be a stupied question but it might help people who flying in the next few days.
As most airlines let you have 5 - 7 kgs on as hand luggage, but now with new security risk flying you have to put your hand luggage in the hold.
So my question is does your luggage you are allowed in the hold still have to be 23 kg's or do the airlines increase your weight limit to 28 - 30kg's
Thanks R

Best to contact your airline to find out what their policy is. I think some are increasing the baggage allowances.

I don't think many have a policy in place. Most are thinking on the run and following the lead of the US(again).

Things may change if the ban continuues - at present they are dealing with people unaware of any problem until they get to the airport. The longer the ban continues, the less tolerant they will be.
