The quickest flight to Perth is Emirates and they are very good. The other advantage they have over most airlines is their baggage allowance of 30kgs economy as opposed to the normal 23kgs.
Everyone has their favourites but most people will select one of the first 4 mentioned below.
The airlines that fly to Perth are as follows;
Emirates
Singapore
Thai
Qantas
Royal Brunei
Also try skyscanner for flights. You can use ukarsn1 on the emirates website for a small discount.
Air Asia
Emirates suit me as it misses the London connection so it's only 2 flights instead of 3 for me.

Just a note on Thai...on the LHR - BKK flight there is still no PTV in economy class, not sure about the BKK - PER sector.

We've flown with Singapore and Emirates with children, both are ok and in terms of service we didn't really notice much difference.
I preferred Singapore Airport though. Been through Dubai twice and although I enjoyed the shopping, there were never any seats available with loads of people sleeping on the floor all over the place.
I believe now they may have opened a new terminal for Emirates but not been to it so don't know if it's any better now.
Hope that helps
