If anyone is thinking of travelling on the way try emirates as we are doing stopovers in dubai, india, sri lanka, bangkok surface to singapore then melbourne. £454 one way tax £77. Not bad if not in a rush to get there and want to see a bit of the world on the way.
Can't wait 4 weeks on wednesday and we leave the UK!!!!!

Don't think this is an option due to time needed to get all those visas.
Besides, don't fancy arriving in Oz with an arse that looks like a pin cushion after having all those inoculations!!!!!
Hope you enjoy it, Nick (Boo's Hubby)

Hi Booboo - I was born in Sydney in 1965 so we're not too far apart in age/place of birth.
H - A goth going over to the dark side? Sounds about right. Does it have to be Mr Vader or can I call HUP Darth?

ONE WAY TRIP
We sold Saturday but are sticking around until the new year - reason being there's no way we'll let the sale fall through at the last, plus we pacify the parentage with xmas dinner.
Good point to note - more than twice the baggage allowance flying west 2 x 32kg bags each. Plus any excuse to stopover in SF is good enough for us.
Perth Feb 2004 - it's only taken 4 years!
All the best to everyone going - and remember...give it 2 YEARS or you're nuts.
Nick and Hayley, S-O-T.
