flights booked
hi all
I'm really getting excited/scared now. We booked oneway flights today for 11th August to Brisbane.
Still don't know which suburb to settle in.
Still havent sold our house (may have to leave it in the hands of an agent !)
Maybe it will begin to seem real once i get on the aeroplane, because right this minute it still seems like a dream.
Am i really taking my family halfway around the world where we have no friends or family, in the hope that the lifestyle we think we want exists there ??
At least we can always come back......

You'll be fine, Brisbane is a lovely city, my own one-way flight is booked for October 31st (and my niece is doing all the jokes about Aunty leaving on her broomstick!). I know what you mean, still feels unreal, but I think its in check-in that it will actually hit me....... and if not there, then it will be when I hear those wonderful words, "Ladies & gentlemen, welcome to Brisbane......"

Good luck hope it all works out. We are just deciding on changing our one way tickets to returns. !
