hi all .
anyone know of any cheap or the cheapest flights at this moment in time to book flights to sydney ?
just looked on ba and they wanted £9300 for 2 people. no wonder there in trouble.

Have you tried qantas? £628 roughly one way per person traveling early march.

For almost all airlines you are better looking at sites like Expedia rather than at individual airline sites.

nice 1. couple sites there i didnt know off. found a rtn to sydney for a quality price of £470. now im on count down . cheers

For that price you can travel with emirates in first class.

This sounds awfully excessive. Are you sure they weren't first class fares? Whilst I am sure there are plenty more competetive fares out there, I've just put in a few random dates with BA over next few weeks, and in particular over Easter, which would be the most expensive time to travel, and for 2 people from LHR to Syd return, averages around 2,100 pounds.

travel agents want £890 inc but found on a website mentioned earlier for £470 . very good as thats nov 2010.

Try Singapore Airlines, I'm not sure if you are wanting them one way or return but we recently booked our flights from the UK to Adelaide one way and for both of us it is costing £1,058.40
