Is that including taxes? April's a bit too early for me but if it's a few hundred quid cheaper it may be worth it....

sheesh - clippies - I thought you said March?! anyway, May/June have the same price as far as I can see. it doesnt include taxes. you can book & look at the specific dates that you want on www.bruneiair.com and check out how much the taxes are as well.

I've found that http://www.airline-network.co.uk/ are ALWAYS the cheapest for me. Trailfinders were more expensive each time I did a flight-costing comparison.

However, having taken a look at airline-network for a costing based upon the information of another poster (going from Brum) it would seem that Trailfinders are cheaper in this instance. I got an online quote for £2,200 for the same route.

FWIW we found Malaysia to be 2nd best and they had a seat sale starting the weekend but you have to get in quick - there are only a small number of economy seats on each flight at the 'headline rate'.

BTW it was Sheikh Makhtoum etc who died (like the Queen here!)

BTW, if you are flying to Sydney from Dubai you should ensure that you get booked onto the A340-500. It's their newest aircraft and apparently has 500 on-demand entertainment channels. The first-class looks out of this world too.

I think that the Emirates aircraft code for this one is 335.

yup - the comments mirror my own experiences - not too bad for the price you are paying. there ARE better airlines, but you pay a lot more. *shrug*
it's all a matter of choice.

To be honest there wasn't much in it, Airline Network was only a few quid more than Trailfinders - I've gone with Trailfinders in the end, I've really researched it and am sure I've got a fair price. We're going out in June on a Friday at 14:00 and we are returning on a Saturday night at 22:30 but we can change the flight to any time within 6 months free of charge (once only have to pay after that) From Birmingham btw so that's cool for us

Nice flight times for us too.

We paid £1547 including all taxes etc for 2 adults and a 4 year old with Emirates. Fares minus taxes are £498 for Adult and £353 for child - just one stop off in Dubai, we didn't want a stopover so we've only got about 2 and a half hours in between connection.

Just had to book two flights for the in-laws too as they want to come with us So even better

hi clippies,we too are hoping to fly from birmingham. With two kids i dont want to prolong the journey by having to travel to London.besides i like the airport and im used to flying from there.we will probably use Emirates but that will be a while off yet.good luck xx irishbloo

Hi irishbloo, yes I know what you mean - the flight is tough enough for the little un's without the extra travelling to airports, we're lucky we're quite close to Brum and I like it too.

Just a tip, the further in advance you book the flights the better - I don't know when you're planning on travelling but the agent told me next time I want to go to book them 11 months in advance, that way I'll get the cheap seat allocation.
