I've just had my mother on the phone in tears as the doc has just told her she'll never be able to fly again as she almost croaked aerlier this year from a pulmery embolism (probably spelt wrong), you can do it by sea but there are only a few cruise ships which do rtw cruises and most of them only stop in a few ports and stay a few hours, so if they cruised out theyd probably have to stay for 9 months untill the next one comes along, there is also the cargo ship option, some of them take passengers but from what i can remember its expensive and long and dull as hell watching all those containers day in day out and having to eat, drink and be merry with the crew.

So i guess i'll have to think about coming home every year, just what i wanted to do
