Spartacus, what do you mean about newspaper? Do they not wrap it in newspaper in Oz? Here in NZ they still do that, although there must be a lining of white greaseproof paper first.

It was said a bit 'tong in cheek'.

KFC do chip and 'mash and gravy'.

Our local chippy does chips and gravy. although its not realy a chippy, more a chicken place.

Our little local store even does chips and gravy.

Never seen mushy peas, although never looked, and I'm northern.

I think the brand is Batchelors.
