First shoes for a toddler in the Gold Coast?
My youngest has started walking..................at last!!
So she needs her first pair of shoes, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a kids shoe shop that properly fits shoes.

That is strange!!
I got all my other kids first shoes from either Russell & Bromley on Princes Street or a really traditional shoe shop in Linlithgow but so far I haven't seen anywhere like that yet, tho to be honest I havent been looking until the last few weeks!
I think David Jones might be worth a try but let me know if you have any other suggestions

I got my kids shoes from Betts kids. Our local one sells Clarks shoes and their own brand which seem OK to me.

Yes, definitely do it before you come if you can. The kids shoes are expensive and, although we have found a great shop to measure their feet, none of the shops seem to stock a good range and we can't seem to get half sizes. Consequently our eldest, who is just a little too big for a 9 ends up flapping around in a 10. She has narrow ankles too. I looked at getting some shoes sent over from the US (I used to do that in the UK because I couldn't get shoes to fit) but the company I used to get them from there (for less than I would pay in the UK) charge $60USD for postage for the first pair of shoes and $30USD per pair for any more than one so it is a costly exercise. I think I am going to get some sent to my mum in law and ask her to post them over.
If anyone has any ideas for where I can get nice shoes south of Sydney I would be most appreciative!

I always got my kids shoes fron Shoes and Sox. They measured feet, had a good range and I never had any complaints.

That is the one I've been too. Great for our youngest, but our eldest has really narrow feet and ankles and Clarks etc are too wide for her. Add to that that they don't seem to do half sizes and I always end up coming away empty handed. I did bring a couple of pairs for her in the next size up when we came in the ones that I know fit, but she is fast growing out of those now.
Thank you anyway.
