Fireban, what fireban?

Took the dog for the evening walk as usualy on Saturday... and there's this muppet having a huge bonfire in his front garden... bearing in mind the fire ban came into effect 1st November.
I was gobsmacked, looked at him in disbelief - so the cheeky f*****r waved at me....
I phoned the police when I got back and they didnt seem that bothered. Considering we live on acre blocks surrounded by trees, grass etc. one gust of wind and it coudl easily been out of hand - I really expected a bit more of a reaction.

Yep, there seem to be two types of people here, the type who will come and tell people off for doing something wrong, and the type who blatantly do stuff wrong and don't even try to hide it.
In our area there are lots of people who hose their gardens at totally the wrong time of day, and on the wrong days.

I wouldn't go to the police, I'd contact the Rural Brigade. They'll definitely send someone round and explain life to the wazzock.
