Finally got it ? TRA!!!!
Finally got it after 15 week and 3 days, 8 hrs & 30 mins. but we've not been counting!!!
and we went fast track.
Had the main application filled in and ready 2 be sent off for weeks now.
just wondering what the time scale will be now. Head off in 4 weeks today to brisbane hopefully this time next year we could be going for good.

There seems to be no hard & fast rules with timescale!! not rubbing this in with anyone but we got our TRA decision in 3 1/2" weeks!! JJL'S glad you have it now, full steam ahead!!

hey jjl, great news on the tra. our 3 months fast track is up on the 14th july but as it's been proved our 3 months and theirs are a little different.which part of brissy are you planning on going to? do you know it well?

Dont no brisbane at all, as we have never been but we r off there in a few weeks, touring .
well actually we r starting off at the goldcoast . going to hire a car and then have a good look round, feel like we have gathered quite a lot of information about brisbane/ goldcoast from this forum.
and we intend to check out as much as we can whilst there,
if u need to know anything about brisbane, just ask ABC diamond or MRS dageboy we have found them to be very imformative .
hopefully they will have an expats meet while we r there.

dear jjl family,used to live in Brissy as a kid so kinda know a wee bit, and have been back 3 times in last 2 years. Personally I love the sunshine coast, you should check it out too. less commercialesed than the gold. we're going to be looking to buy north of the river, but my ma and pa who will retire in a couple of years want acreage so will go south side. my boyfriend and i are really looking forward to an expat meeting eventually! good luck logan

CONGRATS !!!!
We are heading Brisbane , with VISA soon hopefully when it arrives. I love Brissy.
I hope you get chance to look around the areas not connected to the water, theres loads to see, and you "WILL" be overwhelmed at the sheer size of Brisbane, its quite daunting. Have a great trip and post some piccies.
p.s. try and pop down to the BEACH in the CBD !!!! May be quiet this time of year but very tranquil. Oh and O' reilleys !!!! ..... just the drive up there is awesome !
