Red Pops

Hi to everyone who read and replied to my last thread.

I have at last got my builders licence, after having a meeting with the BSA, took 7 years of paperwork and photographic evidence.

Chappie asked questions on how we build in the UK, and say oh yes, right...hmmm... but didn't have a bloody clue.

Still got the licence now.

Just a shame that there is no one to help us in them understanding the UK way of building to the Australia way, would like life much easier. Its OK for them wanting us here, get us here and then make life so bloody awkward.

I read your last thread and was telling my husband about the problems that builders etc are experiencing in getting a licence once in Aus and he couldn't believe it. Anyway congratulations and now get off this computer and get out there and get a job!!!!!

Congrats, take the BSA not knowing about the UK ways of building in the right context, its because it is VERY different here, welcome to the world of the licenced contractor and all that goes with it
