Hi - OK I have always said that I wouldn't do it as a Chef but beginning to think "what the heck" and to be honest I need to start earning some good money or I am going to be working until i am 90!
Any FIFO Chefs here - and if so which companies/minesites do you use/recommend/ wouldnt touch with a barge pole??

Sodexo do the catering for Rio Tinto, well they do at Brockman 2 where I was a few weeks ago.

I think they are a big outfit.

I wouldn't build your hopes up on earning big money with these companies. We had a chef come to work with us he had been working at the Mine site at Tom Price. He was earning $17 ph for a 14hr day 2 weeks on 1 week off. Sorry for being the bearer of bad news.
