Question Feather Duvet?

I have just had the man from Doree Bonner round and he said I could not take my feather duvet with me. Has any one else taken a feather duvet and had problems?

Interesting. I too would love to take my feather duvet. Anyone else reading this know if it's possible to take it?

Had the guy around from Dorree bonner today to give us a quote and he said he has had a few people move now who have told him they have had quilts taken away or burned because of the feathers, was hoping someone else who has already made the move to Perth recently with feather quilts can tell us different????

Doree Bonner said we could take ours! And we had no problems this end. However, we still haven't found our feather pillows - but that's one of life's little mysteries (one day we will find them in a very strange place, no doubt).

The weight for our pressure cooker turned up after 2 years. The packers had hidden it inside a fondue set. Must have chocolate fondue more often

Sorry Nev but we moved to Melbourne - but it should surely be the same treatment in every state?

What if the word "feather" was missing? How does this guy know does he call each customer to ask what they thought of the service?

What are the alternatives? pass to charity?, sell for a pitance?, risk the charge for destruction?

We brought ours and the packers just labelled them all up as bedding and linen. Its all in the labelling. Our packers packed by accident my daughters collection of pine cones from everywhere we have lived. The packers labelled them in with china and ornaments and they got through.
