Default Fares to UK have dropped

Hi

Just to inform anyone thinking of flying next year - we've had seats reserved with Singapore (then the cheapest 4/5* airline) for months to fly in May return June at around $10.5k for 4.

Just called to check if the October specials were in and Emirates have gone down to $7365 if we could pay within 7 days. They were $11+ originally. Singapore are now down to around $9k.

If you were thinking of going and have the cash, now might be the time to book.

Yep, we've just booked return flights from Brisbane to Gatwick, via a Dubai stopover with Emirates over the easter period for $2400 each. Considering the fares were well over $3,000 a while back, we thought this was quite reasonable, especially over Easter. These cheapish fares are only available for a short time though.

ps. anyone know how to get up to Brisbane Airport from the Gold Coast for a 2.45 am flight!!

With child in your lap (I think thats what you said in previous thread) I would hope it was considerably cheaper than 4K!

Looks like a taxi is your best bet probably not cheap though. Last airtrain gets in at 7:45 ish. Unless you have a good mate who doesn't mind driving up at 11pm for you.
