How are you finding business? Are things showing signs of slowing or are things still good? Start over in Syd as an RC in the next few months and I'll be leaving behind a well paid sales job and have some concerns. Friends in London doing the same are finding things harder.

Also, if anyone can offer any advice on achieving success specifically as an RC then I'd be very grateful!

Hi there, I'm a recruiter and moving to Syd too! But not to a Company as my partner got PR so I'm just going to look for a job when I get there. I have a couple of friends who are rec consultants in Syd tho and seemingly business is booming! I did a bit of research myself and although employment in NSW does change seasonally year on year the reduction in the market has been as little as 4% - good news for recuiters! Just take a look at some of the job boards - there are millions of recruitment jobs out there and earning potential depending on your specialist sector is HUGE! So I shouldnt worry mate - just ENJOY!!! Good luck
