You don't have to go to Centrelink for the Family Assistance Office, they are also in the Medicare Office - usually a shorter wait than Centrelink I find!
We've already done all of the Centrelink paperwork so thankfully just about everything else can be done online. I was just uncertain of how the income estimates for the tax year that we provided earlier are confirmed/"closed off" at Centrelink.

Interesting that the Medicare office can also be used. Here in the ACT we've found the queues at both offices to be not too bad. I like the queue ticketing systems that have been widely adopted here.
