Family raising support
I have heared from someone that australian government contributes a fair amount (perhaps 650$ fortnightly per child) as tax rebate or otherwise.
Can someone please share what is elgibitliy , procedure for such support.

Our household income is about $70k a year, I have 2 kids (12 and 3) and we rent a house for $350 a week! I get $350 per fortnight ALTOGETHER, not per child!

How much should it be? $350/fortnight is over 9 grand off your tax bill. Isn't that enough?

The Baby Bonus / Maternity Payment, if added into your figure, would get closer to $650, but that is only for 13 payments, and only for a new baby.

I have 2 kids, 2 and 1, I get about $200 a fortnight for both but I'll only be working for 6 months this financial year so next year with my earnings estimate being higher, I'll get even less .
Child Care Rebate though is cool, got $1000 last week but that's for 3 months worth of child care payments.

What I meant is that it is no where near the estimate the original poster had of $650 per child, per fortnight!
