My family and I are coming out to Oz in April to do a reckie before our move across later in the year.

We are looking to locate probably around Newcastle and the surronding areas (up to about 35km around) and would be grateful for any advice/leads/tips on the area, work, schools etc, generally any information would be useful.

We're moving to Hunter Valley in April, not sure where exactly we will live yet.
All I know so far is that there is lots of wine there, which is good enough for me!
