Just spent a bloody great long weekend in Byron Bay with a some friends camping for my 40th Birthday. We stayed at Clarkes Beach camp site, great location. This morning surfing at Watego's Beach (BEAUTIFULL PLACE) my son and my wife and me were joined by a pod of dolphins and one went straight under my sons board, We have not stopped smilling.

I LOVE AUS!! AND I DON'T CARE IF I'M 40!!

I wouldn't have minded spending my 40th birthday at Byron Bay, instead of a cold and rainy January in this country. We were at Byron Bay last year, albeit briefly, and we loved it, even though it was winter. I'd always had visions of celebrating my 40th in Australia, though it wasn't to be. Glad you had a good time!
