Default Experience pre graduation - Does it count?

Hi All,

The ACS state if you have the equivalent degree qualification in IT, then you need 4 years relevant experience.

I graduated in 98 and have accrued 3 years and 6 months since graduation. I did however complete a placement year before I graduated. Can I use this year towards my 4-year requirement or do all 4 years need to be post grad?

If anyone knows specifically about this then you help would be gratefully appreciated.

I don't know for definate but I spoke to NZIS at the Expo and said that I would not have any experience in the job a have graduated for but I did 4 years in accounts well over 10 years ago. She said as long as I have done a total of 4 years that it doesn't matter when it was. The only problem I now have is most of the people I worked for aren't there anymore and I never kept any payslips! I hope the tax man can help
