Think I'm gonna hold off until the US puts up it's interest rate in June. Also, the BoE issues a report next week which may indicate if another UK int hike is on the cards.
We might see some fun and games after these 2 events.

It's getting a bit panicy..... best rates for a few months and can't chsnge ours till probably end July due to house sale!!!!!

think your scared we have to wait until monday to change ours
still our commonwealth bank stuff came through today so we can transfer the house money straight into it and hold off until there is a better rate:scared:

My understanding is, If you would be happy with that rate you can buy your dollars now on a forward contract. The contract runs indefinetly.
Lets say you wanted to buy £100K in oz dollars? You would need to put 10% down, 10k. The rest of the money is paid when you have sold the house. If your house sale falls through it does not matter as the contract is for an idefinite period of time.
