Default excess-baggage.com - to send PC to Perth.

Hi

Need to get my PC, monitor, fax, printer etc. to Perth for my arrival and are considering using excess -baggage.com.

Any out there shipped PC and equipment who can recommend excess-baggage or anyone else.

Also any tips on packaging the equipment would be appreciated.

Cheers.

We're sending all our boxes with sevenseas, who have been recommended to us by several people. They are the same idea as excessbaggage. You should check them out. As for packing you'll need the original packing materials or buy something suitable. There can be no room in the box, stick newpaper down every corner, use plenty of bubblewrap and maybe bedding or towels to be extra safe - that is if you have thrown the original packaging away. Good luck! kathy

We had alot of trouble with excess bagagge our things took 5 months to arrive and when they did there were lots of things broken and some items of furniture are still missing now and they have no clue where! We have been here nealry a year now so I have pretty much given up chaseing them anymore.I have heard good things about seven seas though so maybe you should give them a try.

When I moved my pc it was done in a wooden crate, as that gives it plenty of protection. Don't risk moving it just in boxes - the shippers should be able to provide a crate.
i used Excess Baggage from Heathrow for last minute stuff - they were good and quick, but that was only a couple of boxes.
