Yeah I'm of to Perth in april 08 , and i can't wait.
Funny thing is my parents/brother/cousins are already planning to come out at Xmas for a holiday, and i'm not even there yet.

I've heard it said, on more than one occassion now, that local Aussies are not that keen on the Poms invading Perth at the rate they are. They say... You can hardly hear an Aussie accent these days, but worse than that, "the Poms have driven up the housing market and made the houses more unaffordable because of the money they're bringing over". Apparently, there is some truth in this.

If you want to work go to Sydney, if you want to watch sport go to Melbourne, If you want to be hot go to Darwin, if you want to be cold go to Hobart, if you want to sweat go to Brisbane, if you want to wear gold lame' go to the Gold Coast, if you want to chill go to Perth and if you want to end up dead in a barrel go to Adelaide.;)

Will you shut up and stop telling everyone!!!! No-one wants to live in Melbourne, its cold and wet and expensive and the traffic is awful.
