And would it be wise to get one now as i am not going away till december,i was thinking maybe i should get one of these before i book my flights, what do you think or can this eta be had after i have my flights booked.

Re: eta for australia?
Have a look on www.immi.gov.au for info on eta - I'm a bit hazy on info now but sure it's valid for a yr from application - it's immediate ish - valid for up to 12 weeks stay each time I think.
But check website and all info definitely there.
Have fun visiting!

Re: eta for australia?
You get an ETA HERE
you can get it up to any tiime before you fly. The travel agent will possibly offer to do it for you, but this may cost more.
Flights are more expensive near Christmas, and get booked up heavily in advance. If you're not fussy about airline, wait till the last minute and you might get a lucky cheap offer. If you have a preference for airline though, I suggest you book sooner rather than later.
