Estate agent websites
Do realestate and domain cover just about everything or are there any other websites I should be trawling?

Re: Estate agent websites
Realestate and Domain cover most REA advertised properties. I believe (to be confirmed by somebody more knowledgeable) that Domain is also open to private advertisers, but not Realestate. Other websites I've come across are
http://www.realestateview.com.au/
http://www.myhome.com.au/
http://www.rent.com.au/
http://www.homehound.com.au/rent/houses/australia/
and of course
http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Home
which should have private ads.
Gum Tree is another one that springs to mind for private ads.

Re: Estate agent websites
In Brisbane I usually stick to www.realestate.com.au.
Some others I muck around with occasionally are:
http://www.suburbview.com/
http://www.onthehouse.com.au (contains some sold prices - zoom in map to see)
www.myhome.coma.au (as above)
and sometimes real estate agencies web sites.
I think I read that domain is stronger in inner city Sydney?
