Entertainment Book and Sunday Saver
Just thought I would share a couple of money saving tips have found after arriving in Melbourne.
Entertainment Books -http://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/ - not only are they full of offers, two for one and 25% off (they cost about 70 dollars and money goes to charity) but also they give you allsorts of ideas about where to go. Is mainly places for eating out but also has activities and day trips in. We used one last time we were Australia and found it invaluable and so have just bought another one for Melbourne but are available for all other major cities.
On a Sunday in Melbourne you can travel everywhere on train on tram for 2.50 it is called a Sunday Saver but you can't buy from the machines only from the ticket office, so if you live near a station where there is no ticket office if you buy a few Sunday Savers to keep in your wallet from Flinders street or some other main station.
