English style Indian food
Are there many places doing this?
Reason I ask is I believe I have cracked the formula for "english style indian curry" and I want to share it!
Anyone wanna come over for a curry once I land late April?

MATE!!! If you only search the history on here, you will realise you've just sealed you fate on the GC!!! Everyone here is after a 'proper' balti and many travel up to a place in south Brissie for it, so expect your doorbell to be ringing throughout the night every friday & saturday from the day you land!
I for one will join you for a curry n a few beers

You can count us in!!
We're off in March and we've been making the most of the wonderful curries on offer here before we go as we know we'll be struggling!
OH has been having a blast at some, they've not been bad but still not quite the same!
We've bought the Pat Chapman curry bible and it seems the trick (as he says) is to have various different pastes/sauces made up! however, each paste contains loads of ingredients!
Anyway, you wont have to ask us twice

Good to see there are plenty of spice addicts out there!!
Maybe we should start a Gold Coast Curry Club!!!?
We could meet in the middle of the night and watch the Prem footy over a filthy homemade curry!!!
And beer!
