We used Overseas emigration, they was quite good but our friends are using Go Matilda and they are supposed to be very good.

Basically if you have a job that is wanted and pass the points mark , and you and all family members have good health and no convictions then everything is straight forward and all you have to do is read and reasearch.
Use this site and use search function and read. and read. ask as many questions as you want as they will always be answered sharpish as when we go to bed oz is waking up.
Id recommend go matilda or ausimmagration(george lombard) if you hsad to go with an agent, but bear in mind all an agent does for you is tell you how to write things and what order to put them in, which people on this site willtell you, or has prob been asked before. You have tyo do al the refs, stat decs and forms yourself as only you know your background.
Save yourself 3k and put it towards flights and a hol.
good luck

Re: emigration agents
We're using George and he's very good... No flannel, very business like, straight talking... Reckon every case is different and many people like us have a good reason to use an agent, so cost wise he'll tell you once he's got the necessary facts... FWIW we're in for £2k plus... YMMV...
Why did we choose George? Apart from the recommendations on here I just loved the fact that he charges $50 to take his web asssesment test...!
Anyone that has the nerve, and obviously gets away with, charging for something that everyone else gives away for free has just got to know his stuff...!

Re: emigration agents
Hello!
In my experience it depend on what route you're going down.
TRA, ACS, Retirement visa, Business visa, Working holiday visa etc..they're all good in their "specialised" fields, I guess they learn from their own experiences dealing with particular issues they come across.
If you're going down the TRA route, you'd really be wise to go with Glenn Newton, who is really quite sublime in this extremely grey area of the TRA world.
The man has empirical experience, extremely happy i chose him.
I believe he's also a forum member and posts occasionally.
