If all goes according to plan this week/ next week with a decision we are going to be flying on 18th August.

Everything is ready now. Car was sold yesterday. Dog arrived in Sydney last night and is doing good. Direct Debits are getting cancelled and the whole flat is 'sold' waiting to be collected by friends etc.

Gav - will hold you to that beer mate.

Rest of u - cheers for the 'finger crossing' which has taken place for what seems like enough time to make your fingers numb!!

Cheers from us both - hopefully we will be blessed with good fortune in the coming 7 days!

I wish our situation was as positive, I e-mailed our case officer to say that they have had all the relevant information will they let us know the situation. This was the reply.

"Please note that due to the large number of applications currently received by this office, the Department is unable to provide progress reports regarding the processing of your application or confirm the reciept of such documents".
