Anthony, Erin was the lady who dealt with our application she is a really nice, effecient, helpful and down to earth women who seemed to us to have alot of common sense.

She went out of her way to phone us on a mobile while we were on hols to give us the good news on our visas, when we were waiting anxiously for a decision because fo a medical question.

Hang in there

James

Hi Anthony and Zoe,

We've got our fingers and toes crossed for you.

We're sure it's good news that they say they've got all the documentation they need. You sent them so much stuff the second time around and it was much more personal stuff which is what they're after.

In real relationships people don't keep a few perfect pieces of 'evidence' of their lives together, just lots of odds and ends, so all the bits and pieces you've sent will look much more convincing than first time around.

Particularly liked your mention of the photos of you two in Paris taken separately! That is so much what happens to a real couple. If you were faking it all your photos would be smiling couple only without any complicated explanations and AHC know that too.

AHC know it's easy to get 'official' looking paperwork but the personal stuff is much harder - stat decs etc. People faking marriages don't like to tell everyone.

You've done it all right so just keep holding your breath!!!

PS - We've done this before - twice. Once to get UK residency for me after we married, then to get Aussie visa for Mike. None of my family were being helpful at the time either so I know what it's like.

Jo and Mike

Hi Guys

Cheers for the words of wisdom. It is really starting to hot up now with all this talk of a 'decision' in sight.

Will keep you all informed - thanks from me and Zoe for your support guys. Your a great bunch! (apart from mr cut and paste - PB who seems to be a bit obnoxious!!!)

Totally agree with the comment above, Erin is a really lovely lady and if she is your case officer and all your paperwork/relationship is in order I am sure you will be getting some good news very soon :)
